We were contacted (by caring animal control officers) about a 10 month old puppy who was hit by a car.  A wonderful Animal Services Supervisor contacted us and said "we posted him on FB but have had no response...I was hoping Arctic Rescue would take him and save him for us".  To that we say "without question", he needed to get into a specialist for surgery right away.  We cannot imaging how much pain this pup must be in, and yet he has been so grateful for all of the help.

We are naming him Tigger, because we hope this beautiful happy boy can BOUNCE back and enjoy a wonderful, forever home:-)

We took Tigger to Cottonwood Animal Hospital for surgery to repair his pelvis and are happy to report that the surgery went well.  Dr. Bagley said "Tigger's surgery went well.  Difficult reduction but turned out great.  I think he will be able to make a full recovery and not have any limitations".

We are so very grateful that we were able to help Tigger, thanks to all of the amazing people out there who are donating to make this possible.

Tigger will be available for adoption or foster very soon.
